About Me

I’m Amanda Studer, and I have 8 years of teaching experience.  In that time, I’ve been frustrated with the lack of available, understandable resources for teaching grammar to middle school students.  “If only there were a website that had everything I need, all in one place, with explanations that are clearly written and sample sentences and examples!”  I cried my frustration to the heavens. 

 

Since no such resource existed, I decided to make one.  This website is the culmination of a very intense spent summer researching the minutia involved in the Common Core language standards for grades 6-8.  It is intended to be used by teachers, parents, and even students who might need additional clarification on grammar homework or classwork.
