Diagramming Lesson 8

Questions

Questions might not be a new concept, but exploring their sentence structure through diagrams requires rearranging - but not replacing - the words.

Example: Do you like cheese?

Rearranged as a statement: you Do like cheese.

Example: Will we order lemonade?

Rearranged as a statement: we Will order lemonade.

Example: Are you my mother?

Rearranged as a statement: you Are my mother.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Capitalization stays the same, and the words themselves don't change. This is not about answering the question; it's about examining the structure of the question itself.
